Employer Gift Matching
Employee-matching gifts or funds are granted an employer to match an employee's charitable contributions. Usually associated with corporate grantmakers, employee matching gifts are often dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Some companies may also give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts.
Procedures vary with each company. Information about their matching gift benefits is usually available from the human resources department.
