Additional Programs

To provide additional fruit and vegetable options for community members, ACBC has fresh produce distributions twice a month. No appointment is needed to pick up produce at these events.

2024 Free Produce Community Distributions

• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, July 26
• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, August 23
• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, September 27

• No fee to enter the park
• Distribution located at Pavilion 3
• Fresh fruits and vegetables available
• Community resources for all ages
• Please bring a cart or wagon, if able
• Everyone is welcome!

The Weekly Program is designed to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness. This program provides participants with the option to choose more manageable amounts of food during their temporary housing situation.

During the regular food shopping appointment, households with school-age children have the option to choose additional ‘kid-friendly’ food.

The Summer Food for Kids program is available once a month during the regular shopping period from June 11 through the end of August.

For the Thanksgiving holiday, ACBC has a special distribution (with an appointment) for Thanksgiving meal kits. In addition to a frozen turkey, participants receive a pre-packed box with traditional Thanksgiving sides. 

Each year, 600 Thanksgiving food kits are distributed during the drive-through distribution. Appointments are required to receive a Thanksgiving Dinner Kit. Additional details will be provided to current ACBC participants approximately a month prior to distribution.

Participants with a youth age 0-18 in their household can receive a birthday bag during the month of their child(ren)’s birthday. The birthday bag is available during the regular food shopping appointment.
